The Rolling Stones - Foreign Tongues
»Foreign Tongues«, the Rolling Stones' new studio album, comprises 14 songs and follows less than three years after its multi-award-winning predecessor »Hackney Diamonds«, which reached top positions in the charts worldwide and was awarded multiple platinum.
The album is introduced by the lively and catchy lead single »In The Stars«.
»Foreign Tongues« was shot within a month at Metropolis Studios in West London, where Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood once again collaborated with Grammy-winning producer Andrew Watt. The result is a dynamic, contemporary album that picks up on the band's characteristic sound and at the same time sets new tonal and thematic accents.
In addition to the central contributions of Jagger, Richards and Wood, long-time musical companions such as Darryl Jones, Matt Clifford and Steve Jordan are also represented on the album. In addition, the album includes a special contribution from Charlie Watts, which was made during one of his last recording sessions before his death in 2021. The project is complemented by guest appearances by Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith (The Cure) and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others.
