Keitaro hates ghosts, but much to his horror, they're drawn to him like moths to a flame. After spending years as a shut-in to avoid spectral catastrophe, he finally musters the courage to rejoin society and get a part time job as a tutor to the child prodigy Yayoi. Yayoi isn't just an academic genius, though. She's a talented psychic medium hell-bent on finding the malevolent spirit behind her mother's disappearance and she's determined to drag ghost-magnet Keitaro into her the terrifying world of grotesque supernatural phenomenon.
