Originally released in 1981, it saw him collaborate with a variety of different musicians including Robert Wyatt and Carla Bley. The album was recorded in 1979 at a session booked in America where Nick, Carla and Robert were going to bring their ideas together, but ahead of the trip, Carla sent Nick a demo cassette… “It was very different from what she had done before and absolutely in line with what I like” commented Nick in 2012… and it went on to be the nucleons of the album.
