Wheels of Fire is the third studio album by British rock trio Cream, originally released in 1968. Recorded between 1967 and 1968, the album marked a shift from the rapid sessions of Disraeli Gears, instead taking shape over many months in short bursts at IBC Studios in London, with production by Felix Pappalardi.
Released as a groundbreaking double album, Wheels of Fire pairs studio recordings, including the classic singles “White Room” and “Crossroads”, with a powerful live disc recorded across six shows at San Francisco’s Fillmore Auditorium by Pappalardi and engineer Bill Halverson.
