Au/Ra - Heartcore

heartcore is the debut album from alt-pop visionary Au/Ra.

Recorded between London and Los Angeles, blending ethereal pop, electronica, 8-bit hyperpop and alt-rock, Au/Ra describes the 16-track opus as “a concept album where I open the dungeon of my mind for listeners to climb inside. I created a character to help me process the real-life trauma of my girlhood, and how I healed from putting all my self-worth into being an artist.”
Featuring the singles ‘KILLSWITCH,’ ‘CRACK!,’ ‘HIGH FANTASY’ and ’SWAMP,’ each song is a step further into a shifting labyrinth; an illuminating portal into her character’s descent and eventual rehabilitation.
